02 — Making a claim
If something isn’t right.
Arrived faulty, or not as described? That is covered by our returns policy too.

Write to admin@infinityfurniture.co.nz with your order number and the details of what has gone wrong.

A clear photo of the fault, and one of the whole piece. Daylight is best.

Warranty claims require proof of purchase and may involve inspection or photo evidence.
03 — Care
Looking after your furniture.
Our pieces are made to last. We recommend:
- Using a soft cloth to clean
- Avoiding harsh chemicals
- Keeping out of direct sunlight or extreme humidity

How each material wears
General guidance about the materials themselves, not care instructions for your piece. Compare them side by side.
- Linen
- Creases readily and will not stop. Softens with use. The strongest natural upholstery fibre when it is woven heavily enough.
- Wool
- Naturally springy, so it recovers its shape after being leant on. Resists soiling better than most naturals.
- Bouclé
- The loops are the weakness and the charm: they can snag. Excellent on a headboard, harder on a seat that gets shuffled about.
- Velvet
- Cotton velvets mark and recover; synthetic pile velvets shrug most of it off. Both flatten where they are used most, which reads as character or as wear depending on the room.
- Leather
- An aniline hide takes on a patina and marks honestly. A pigmented hide resists marking and stays as it was. Two very different decisions.
- Oak
- Hard and stable. Dents rather than scratches, and a dent in oak reads as history.
- Walnut
- Softer than oak. Marks more easily, polishes back more easily too.
